Carex comans 'Amazon Mist'

Another cute mop-top sedge, 'Amazon Mist' is a cool blue-gray-green color, with white on the undersides of the leaves, which gracefully curl back. Mist like, if you will. We just love this plant in containers, as an accent in the garden, or as a very unusual ground cover. Use it to fill in odd spaces, as it's neutral color goes with everything.

We especially like it in a grouping with Heuchera 'Hollywood'. The foliage color combination seems to work perfectly, and the dark red flowers of 'Hollywood' are enhanced by the cool colors of 'Amazon Mist'.
