Geranium phaeum 'Margaret Wilson'
Geranium phaeum 'Margaret Wilson'
(Mourning Widow Cranesbill) 'Margaret Wilson' is a marvelous plant with light purple, reflexed-petal flowers that appear in April to June, with a repeat bloom in the Fall. A valuable filler for color in the perennial garden, this variety forms a mound of unparalleled platinum and green foliage, handsomely streaked in creamy yellow.

Plants need to be cut back after blooming to encourage fresh new foliage. Slow-growing and dense, an excellent choice for a woodland garden.  Requires part shade to keep the leaves from burning.
