Never have gotten a delivery so quickly of mail-order plants and what's more, the plants were superior in quality to anything I've seen before. We have great nurseries in Berkeley and nearby but I must say, these were spectacular!

I love you guys--the S. macrophylla started blooming flowers a few days after it arrived and so are the canariensis and radula that I ordered earlier in the month. They are absolutely gorgeous and I have no doubt they will thrive once planted in the ground. Thank you thank you!

I also wrote a yelp review to help get your site out there :-)

Masdevallia Sidney 'Greenwood'
In the early 1990's I purchased a community pot of seedlings of this cross, which is M. coccinea x M. patriciana.   After almost 20 years, I have decided that this is the superior clone of the group - fast growing, making an excelent specimen, tolerant of adversity and just plain cute! I never can resist picking up a pot when I walk by, and looking at these little jewels.

This variety can be grown into a very impressive specimen in a very small pot.  It grows fast and blooms it's head off.  I've had a plant in a 2 1/2" clay pot with 20 flowers!

Grows best cool and moist, but does OK in an intermediate orchid growing regime.  How can such a small flower come from the large M. coccinea?
