Thank you for the very well-packaged shipment I received today. I appreciate your time-consuming efforts at weight reduction for shipping: these plants are bohemoths that should-if I do my part- overwinter and leap out of the ground next Spring! In the midst of all of the challenges you have faced, I remain grateful for your professionalism and consideration.

Got my order this afternoon. Everything was great, much better than I expected. Thanks for the extra keikis. Many of your keikis were bigger and more advanced than some 2 1/2-3 inch potted orchids I've received from other mail-order nurseries at 3 times the price.

Patrinia villosa
(Bai Jiang Cao)  A very important herb in traditional Chinese medicine, this meadow growing herb is widespread in Japan and Eastern Asia.  Best  in partial shade, it will grow in full sun in cooler areas.

The beautiful white flowers, in large umbels, continue for a large part of the late Summer and Fall.  The foliege and flowers are "airy", making this a perfect plant for the fall border.

The whole plant is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and hepatic.  It is used in the treatment of carbuncles, acute appendicitis, intestinal abscess, postpartum pain, dysmenorrhoea and endometriosis.  It stimulates the circulation, treats abscesses, promotes regeneration of liver cells.  Large doses can cause a decrease of white blood cells, nausea and dizziness
