Brunnera macrophylla 'Emerald Mist'
(Silver Siberian Bugloss) This is without a doubt the best Brunnera since 'Jack Frost'. Compact, good growing and very showy, nothing lights up a dark space in the shade garden the way this plant does.

(Siberian Bugloss) Attractive heart-shaped, hairy leaves with loose sprays of playful Forget-Me-Not-type flowers overhead. Most cultivars are highly variegated and especially striking massed as a ground cover.

Brunneras are at their best in light shade, where their leaves seem to glow. And in the early spring, the forget me not like blue flowers are a real treat.

In milder climates, these plants are atractive 10 or 11 months a year. What a deal!
