A favorite of mine and is a "must have" every Spring though Fall. The bright blue flowers with the black calyxes is a standout. Hummers love these flowers and it should be in every Hummingbird flower garden.

The 3 Salvia sagittata arrived healthy and have taken off. The 1 Salvia patens Guanajuato had very few roots. It was loose in the pot and perhaps suffered root damage in the long transit. It's not dead, but is the plant TLC and has lost one stem. The packing was good. I think occasional losses are just part of ordering plants by mail. Would order from them again.
Plants arrived in beautiful condition. After a few weeks in the ground the salvias are thriving, blooming and attacking hummingbirds.

Very satisfying service. Plants arrived as promised, though one was damaged. I notified fbts and received a refund. Plants are doing well, as they were healthy and we followed the complete and understandable instructions for preparation and planting. Many thanks. I have recommended this company to others.

I was very happy when my plants arrived to see that they were large and very well packed. I live in MIchigan so they had to come quite a distance. They arrived in perfect shape. They are doing well now that they are planted. I know that Michigan is fairly far north for these salvias but I hope they will make it.
Every plant that I've received from FBTS has been of exceptional size, vigor and quality. Every one ready to go into the ground and thrive! Their packing is exceptional and shipping is speedy. I highly recommend FTBS for their diversity of offerings, depth of knowledge and experience and top shelf mail order service.

Thank You for the Great Service and 5 Beautiful Cherry Chief Sage plants. All arrived safe and sound because of the Great detail of packing them! The Plants spent 4 days under Grow Lights because of the threat of hail and damaging winds in my part of Texas. Been in-ground now approx. 3 weeks and all 5 have buds and will flower shortly! Followed Your advice given for My handling of the arriving ...

Plants arrived in good condition seeing they didn't get delivered on Friday, April 3rd. as scheduled. Instead they were held over the Easter weekend and were delivered by noon on Monday the 6th. I put then in the sunroom to recover. Too cold here in Wisconsin to think of placing them outside. Cloudy day so they won't be getting any sun today or even the rest of the week. I will also repot ...

Kermit Carter at Flowers By The Sea is totally in a class by himself ! I have been a avid "grower" for 55 of my 81 years, always pursuing knowledge from nurserymen and growers. The CA drought took me to fbts, because azaleas, camellias, and rhododendrons are no longer in vogue! The several hundred dollars worth of plants that Kermit has sent to me have been in exceptional condition, many rea...

Never have gotten a delivery so quickly of mail-order plants and what's more, the plants were superior in quality to anything I've seen before. We have great nurseries in Berkeley and nearby but I must say, these were spectacular!
I ordered Wendy's Wish salvia and Elk white ice salvia. I was thrilled to find the Wendy's Wish. It is one of my favorite salvias. I had never had a truly white salvia and it is stunning. The plants were in great shape after traveling from California all the way to Georgia. They are thriving in my garden. The hummingbirds cover these plants all day. I am so excited to have a source for salvi...
