I received 2 shipments in 2010, total of 8 plants, all salvias. I received large plants per capita and they were growing in an interesting well-drained mix. It contained what looked like tiny bits of clay pots in place of perlite. I highly recommend this nursery based on 2010 experience and future 2011 same.

I love you guys--the S. macrophylla started blooming flowers a few days after it arrived and so are the canariensis and radula that I ordered earlier in the month. They are absolutely gorgeous and I have no doubt they will thrive once planted in the ground. Thank you thank you!

I also wrote a yelp review to help get your site out there :-)

Salvia heirosolimitana
(Jerusalem Sage) A lovely and thrifty herbaceous perennial from Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and the West Bank, the flower color of this Sage seems to change from a clear pink to a pink highlighted with violet lines and dots. The prominent glandular hairs found on the buds, bracts and floral stems are very fragrant - almost medicinal - delightful on a warm day.

This species forms a basil rosette of mid-green leaves that increases over time.  It blooms on-and-off thorough the growing season, and seems to be especially generous in the Spring and Fall.

Give it well drained soil in full sun, and run on the dry side.  A nice perennial Salvia to mix with similar types.
