Salvia karwinskii x involucrata v. puberula

(Gray Roseleaf Sage) A hybrid between Karwinskii's Sage (S. karwinskii) and a variety of Roseleaf Sage (S. involucrata v. puberula) collected in Mexico by Rich Dufresne, this plant combines the strong points of both parents.

Bloom starts for us in early Fall, and continues through early Spring - until we cut back the plants in fact! The flower spike are up to 2 feet long, with dozens of 2 to 3 inch, tubular magenta flowers are a staple for our Winter cut flower use.

And did I say that the foliage is lush and attractive?

Highly recommended.
