Salvia nilotica - Highland African Sage

(Highland African Sage) This Sage is native to a wide swath of the African highlands, from Ethiopia to Zimbabwe at elevations of up to 12,000 feet. We have found it to be a strong growing, hardy perennial that doesn't need much care - or water!

The small, cloud like blur flowers are never very numerous, but they spread throughout the season and along with the foliage are pleasantly scented. This Salvia forms a tidy mound that gently spreads.

Salvia lasiantha

(Wooly Multicolor Sage) The large wrinkled foliage and white wooly stems of this large, shrubby Sage is reason enough to grow it. But the flowers and wooly bracts are unlike any other Salvia we have ever seen. Starting in the morning as an orange-apricot, they age as the day goes on to a reddish-purple.
