(Cambridge Blue Gentian Sage) Since the discovery of this herbaceous species in 1838, it has been a mainstay of the perennial garden. Cambridge Blue is perhaps the most famous variety, as it's light blue color is amazing and delightful.

Well branched, compact and reliable to return each year in well drained soil, this Salvia has 2 1/2 inch flowers of, well - Cambridge blue. Even if you live in a cold zone, this plant is worthy of the Summer garden.  This has been called, "The BEST plant in cultivation".
