Testimonials
I received my four plants today (that was really fast shipping.) I have been really excited about receiving these. Knowing there are a lot of fraud websites out there, it's hard not to be the least bit skeptical when ordering online. Someone I met online had purchased some plants from here too so I trusted my gut and went ahead. For a second I thought they might not come at all, or they wouldn't be healthy. When I opened all the plants I was amazed!

They were definitely not amateur. All were bushy and pinched, like promised. Of course they're a little bent from being sent, which will go away soon, not a problem! You really went above and beyond.

Thank you for these wonderful plants, I couldn't be happier. Cheap and worth every penny. I plant to keep them forever (pun intended.) Have a nice day.
JJ

When I received my order the plant had snapped in half during shipping, I contacted them and told them about it and they promptly sent me a replacement that arrived in awesome condition! The plants were both very healthy and green despite the first one being broken. The quality of the plants was far above any other nursery I have ordered from.
Danny

Salvia rubescens

Salvia rubescens

(Venezuelan Red Sage) A spectacular plant, with gorgeous foliage and deep orange-red flowers on long spikes, this plant has been in cultivation for decades but is still quite rare in gardens. We'd like to see that change.

The large (4 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch) heavy textured leaves of this Sage are quite hairy, giving a silvery appearance to plant. The up to 2 ft. long flower stem and the calyxes are a very dark purple - almost black. This is a robust shrub that requires full sun and rich soil, best used in a prominent place so that you can enjoy its bloom, which starts in mid-Summer and goes deep into the Fall.  It's flowering time for us is synchronized with the Dahlias, and often goes into November.

Hardy to at least 25 degrees, we believe it may be Zone 8 hardy if treated as an herbaceous perennial and well mulched.

Highly recommended.
