Synopsis: A free online garden planner can help you design a garden map for spring planting.
Winter is a good time to begin visualizing changes you want to make in your landscape. The Garden Planner website offers a fun, free program based on drag-and-drop technology for designing gardens on a grid. Garden Planner’s image library contains a wide variety of icons for plants – including trees, shrubs, perennials, annual flowers, structural elements including paving and ponds and garden furniture. The free version doesn’t allow you to save plans, but you can print them.

Kermit and crew have always been good about suggesting plants for a particular habitat I've got in mind, and the plants have been well-grown and well-shipped. They've even gone a bit off-list to make a personal grouping selection for me. Their newsletter is very informative and interesting. I'll write more about my latest purchases - 4 different lobelias -- a bit after I get 'em in the ground. ...

Kermit Carter at Flowers By The Sea is totally in a class by himself ! I have been a avid "grower" for 55 of my 81 years, always pursuing knowledge from nurserymen and growers. The CA drought took me to fbts, because azaleas, camellias, and rhododendrons are no longer in vogue! The several hundred dollars worth of plants that Kermit has sent to me have been in exceptional condition, many rea...

Just received my plants today from Flowers by the Sea,(my first order) and WOW, they are fantastic! I could smell them outside of the box, so when I opened it, it was awesome! The packing was great, and I am so glad I received them before it got too hot here in Texas! I cannot wait to plant them, but tonight they are resting and getting refreshed from traveling so far! Thank you for such beaut...

This was my first experience with ordering plants from Flowers by the Sea. Exceptional service and attention to packing /shipping detail and follow-up, from Flowers by the Sea. Timely receipt of plants that were in very good condition. I planted them here in North Carolina a couple days after receipt ( about a month ago) and they are already blossoming! I will definitely consider ordering ...

FBTS offers and delivers fantastic products. I purchase high-end plants from plugs to full grown, specimen tree cultivars. FBTS has been a very welcome addition to my Maryland business. They have filled an important niche in my plant material supply chain, and I cannot recommend them enough. From containers to beds to borders, their plants deliver a difference to my clients gardens.

I ordered for the first time from Flowers by the Sea. I am very impressed by the quality of the plants (red hot pokers and a salvia). They were extremely well packaged and made it to the East from California in excellent condition. I am very excited to get them planted and enjoy the show! Thank you.

I love Flowers by the Sea ! I always get quality products and service from you . The Salvias I’ve purchased are thriving and the milkweed is already starting to spread. I hope to have a full milkweed forest next summer to aid the Monarchs on their journey . I am glad I happened upon you .

When I ordered from Flowers by the Sea I expected to receive the usual seedlings many companies send. To my surprise I received large specimens, some in bloom. I am impressed with both the plants and the plant-saving packaging that helped them survive a week in transit. Truly fine plants and people!
