(Violet Pincushin) 'Ultra Violet' has extremely dark electric violet flower color, making it a real stand out in the garden. Disease-resistant, gray-green basal foliage hugs the ground, growing to only 18" tall, with flower stalks (up to 18 blooms at any given time) rising well above the foliage. Large 2" vibrant blooms cover this plant from early summer and into fall, attracting an abundance of butterflies.

This exciting new perennial hybrid the most vibrant of any hybrid Scabiosa! Now, here is how you grow it. Plant in average to poor, well drained soil. don't over water, don't fertilize and don't shade it. The result will be flowers that are a color that most people only imagine.
