Shade Perennials

Most of us have some shade in their gardens, and for many shade is the rule rather than the exception.

Flowers by the Sea specializes in herbaceous perennials that grow in the shade.  These are plants that dye back to the ground in the Winter, and grow up to their full potential each season.  Some are true full shade lovers, and some will grow in part day sun.  We include in this category a wide range of plants.

For a plant to be included on our list, it must be:

  • Reliable for the average gardener
  • The best of its species or sort
  • Well adapted to sustainable, organic horticulture without dangerous chemicals

In other words, just the sort of plant a good gardener is thankful for during the busy/hot/tired part of the year.

You can rely on our plants, as they are all covered by our Unconditional Guarantee.

Here are just some of our choice Shade Growing Perennials
