The 2 inch fluorescent purple flowers resemble poppies, with papery petals and prominent stamens.  They are displayed on toll, branched flower spikes all season long.  The leaves are in tight rosettes, attractive in their own right.

A drought resistant plant that can tolerate dry periods, Rock Purslane does appreciate regular watering.  A lovely addition to any mild climate garden.
