Sometimes Kniphofias are referred to as Torch Lilies because of the shape of their flower spikes as well as their fiery look. They light up the landscape, especially when mixed with hot-colored Salvias.

Each variety in the Terra Nova Popsicle™ Series features tidy clumps of grassy green, basal foliage. They are full-sun perennials that appreciate regular moisture and the opportunity to dry out a bit between waterings. We grow a number of Popsicle Kniphofias and can attest to their long bloom time, which keeps hummingbirds busy in our gardens.

Aside from being wildlife friendly, these easy-to-grow Hot Poker plants are cold tolerant. They thrive in containers and Salvia gardens due to low demand for both water and fertilizer.
