Synopsis: An Excel spreadsheet can be helpful in tracking Salvia plantings.
For those who love the power of Microsoft Excel to record and sort information, a spreadsheet may be a useful tool for tracking plantings of Salvias and their landscape partners. You can think of any number of useful categories for your spreadsheet, including common and botanical names, planting dates and locations and observations about whether sunlight and moisture are sufficient or over-abundant. The categories and coding are up to you.
We like to give credit where credit is due: This bright idea came from mathematician, engineer and urban homesteader Laurie Neverman of the Common Sense Homesteading website.

I have ordered plants from six different nurseries online over the last year (because I am so particular and no one carries everything) but FBTS was by far my favorite. I've received plants from other stores where they cut the plant down to the root ball, but FBTS sent me two healthy plants that weren't trimmed down and weren't damaged during shipping, showing they don't necessarily need to be ...

They were tenderly packed, in a large box,and each completely wrapped in a thick white paper -- and were easy to remove from the box (this ...

The plant was packaged real well. It came alive without any wilted leaves. Now in a pot and surviving. Love it, can't wait until it gets bigger.

Everything arrived quickly and in very good shape. I did get a surprise with my Torch Lillies, a little lizard. I hope he wasn't too traumatized by his trip.
