Never have gotten a delivery so quickly of mail-order plants and what's more, the plants were superior in quality to anything I've seen before. We have great nurseries in Berkeley and nearby but I must say, these were spectacular!

I was very impressed with the careful packing when I opened the box with my blue anise sage! 4 out of the 6 plants already had beautifukl flowers! One stem had completely broken off at the base. I emailed fbts and got a prompt reply that it would be replaced. I will order from them in the future!

Salvia barrelieri
(North African Sage) This stunning herbaceous perennial has sky blue flowers on showy, tall branched spikes.

This plant stays compact and small before blooming, and then sends up spikes as large as 6 feet that bloom for 4 to 6 weeks in early to mid summer.  It can then be cut back to a low mound - a great addition to any perennial border.

Plant these early for the best bloom this season.  Highly recommended.

Salvia tingitana Salvia tingitana

(Mauretania Tingitana Sage) A plant with a history. This rare Sage was first described in 1777, and was known for decades before this date.
