Salvia univerticillata

(Blood Red Sage) From Chiapas, Mexico comes this elegant, long blooming Salvia for partially shaded areas. Is this actually Salvia pulchella? Some believe this to be the case, but we recognize it by the name we have listed.

This is a very fine species, blooming for us during Spring, Summer and Fall. It grows to at least 4 by 4 feet, and perhaps larger in favorable spots. The flower color is intense and unique, and the flowers are large and showy. And to top it off, it does very well in containers.
