September is the new May Sale
September is the new May Sale

Soil is warmer in autumn than in spring.  In the fall temperatures begin cooling, which makes garden work easier. Put these traits together and you have a season that is ideal for planting many Salvias and companion plants.

For gardens in areas with warm winters, planting certain sages in autumn results in vibrant color at a time of year when you might not expect it. In regions with cold winters, early autumn planting allows roots to become well-established before frosts arrive. Then, mulching new plantings with a thick layer of autumn leaves protects the roots until the spring growing season arrives.

Whether you live up North, down South, on the West or East Coasts or in-between, Flowers by the Sea has selections for successful fall planting in your garden.

Through September 30th, our SEPTEMBER IS THE NEW MAY SALE
gives you 20% off on all of these plants.  Limited to stock on hand.
