Special Order Plants
Special Order Plants

Special Order plants are ones that Flowers by the Sea Farm begins to grow when you place an order for their purchase. We propagate the plants -- minimally a six-week project -- when the order is placed. These are attractive Salvias and other plants for which demand is neither constant nor seasonal.

Sometimes one or more customers might need dozens of a particular Special Order plant; other times no one may need it. It isn't ecofriendly or financially wise to expend water, energy, space and time growing the plant unless we have an order for production.

Most Special Order plants are ready for shipping six weeks after you place your order. If you happen to order one of the few types that requires a longer grow time, we'll contact you to provide an estimated delivery date.
