The plants are so beautiful: large, healthy and just ready to grow and bloom. These are among the best salvias I have ever received. The selection of plants is fantastic too. My first order, but it certainly won't be the last!

I received 2 shipments in 2010, total of 8 plants, all salvias. I received large plants per capita and they were growing in an interesting well-drained mix. It contained what looked like tiny bits of clay pots in place of perlite. I highly recommend this nursery based on 2010 experience and future 2011 same.

Hi! I ordered outdoor orchids from you last year. Just wanted to say how great they are doing. Mounted the orchids on the trunk of my tree ferns and about half of the kikis are blooming. Evey-thing you sent is still alive. I have never been able to keep orchids alive indoors but they really like hanging outside on trees.

Never have gotten a delivery so quickly of mail-order plants and what's more, the plants were superior in quality to anything I've seen before. We have great nurseries in Berkeley and nearby but I must say, these were spectacular!

I received my four plants today (that was really fast shipping.) I have been really excited about receiving these. Knowing there are a lot of fraud websites out there, it's hard not to be the least bit skeptical when ordering online. Someone I met online had purchased some plants from here too so I trusted my gut and went ahead. For a second I thought they might not come at all, or they wouldn't be healthy. When I opened all the plants I was amazed! They were definitely not amateur. All were bushy and pinched, like promised. Of course they@#039;re a little bent from being sent, which will go away soon, not a problem! You really went above and beyond. Thank you for these wonderful plants, I couldn't be happier. bought 12 salvia plants, mostly salvia leucantha. was delightfully surprised at the size and quality of my plants. if these do well in the southern california desert sun, i'll be back for more...lost more.

My first order with FBTS was great except for one plant that was weak from the get-go... however all the other plants were in acceptable shape (however a little more pot-bound than I would normally find desirable) they did survive and are flourishing! Upon submitting my issue with this one plant I received immediate attention to resolve this! FBTS was more than generous in this matter!!! I will miss the plant that I lost but I am confident that at a later date I will be able to obtain a new order for this plant in a much healthier condition!. In the mean time I have not hesitated to order more from this most spectacular FBTS inventory of Salvias offered on the internet that I have found to date!

This was my second order, six plants. They were moist, green and large for their containers when they arrived. All are planted and doing well so far. I am very pleased.

Received Mid-March and was ready with containers to plant all three. They arrived bright green and upright. Too early to speak of flowers as too early for blooms. (The pictures are exciting.) A BIG plus in my high desert location is that the two species of rabbits have, as yet, left them alone. I and my 'Hummers' are waiting.

Plants arrived well pack and in good health. I would order again from this company and would also recommend them.

Yesterday was like Christmas morning and Independence Day rolled into one! My plants arrived from Flowers By The Sea. As I unwrapped each carefully wrapped plant, I found myself "oohing" and "awing" as I saw each plant. I've been a customer for many years, and I will continue to be.

I have ordered online from quite a few vendors. The plants from Flowers by the Sea were extremely well packaged, well sized and very healthy. I will order again in the future with no hesitancy. The best best choice I seen for plants to attract hummingbirds.

’m a big fan of salvia because I love inviting the hummingbirds into my garden. I was so pleased to have found the source of the ‘new and improved’ black & blue salvia “Bodacious Rhythm & Blues”. Flowers by the Sea handled my order very professionally and the large and healthy plants were packed with great care. They are now in the ground and I am looking forward to seeing those lovely blooms and sharing them with my little garden visitors.

not receive a credit for this Spring's shipment. My only negative in the 3-4 years of purchasing from you would
be the Elk Chantilly Lace plants. Since they were identified as Zone 8 plants I should not have lost all five plants.
I really question if these were zoned correctly. That being said, I do not hesitate to recommend your nursery to
other gardeners in my area. Please keep producing the wonderful Salvias that you do.

I have ordered twice now from Flowers by the Sea. Both times the plants have been some of the best I have ever received by mail order and I have used several vendors. I like to attach hummingbirds to the garden and have never a selection that had so many choices.
