FBTS is clearly THE site for salvias!......all the plants I have ordered are big and healthy..........do not fear that your roots look pot bound in their little pots....they spread out and take off the moment you put them in the ground........impressive

Since moving from Berkeley, CA to Tigard, OR in November 2017, I have purchased 18 plants from FBTS: two salvias for a small shade garden, fifteen salvias and one agastache for a full sun garden. Every one of the plants arrived in pristine condition and they are all doing splendidly. I couldn't be happier. The plants are vigorous, loaded with flowers and visited all day long by bees and humming birds.

I’m so pleased to have found you! I never realized how lovely salvia could be. I tried just two this year, three plants of each. I’m in zone 6 and felt challenged to find a beautiful plant hardy in my zone. The two I tried were exceptional. Salvia greggii 'Burgundy Seduction' has just begun blooming in earnest which is great because we don’t have a lot of color at this time of year. The color itself is stunning and flower texture is like velvet! Salvia greggii 'Cold Hardy Pink' Has been blooming nonstop for months and continues to do so. I love to look out at the bright, lighter but vibrant, pink. I can’t wait to add others to our gardens! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

’m a big fan of salvia because I love inviting the hummingbirds into my garden. I was so pleased to have found the source of the ‘new and improved’ black & blue salvia “Bodacious Rhythm & Blues”. Flowers by the Sea handled my order very professionally and the large and healthy plants were packed with great care. They are now in the ground and I am looking forward to seeing those lovely blooms and sharing them with my little garden visitors.

I wanted to say thank you. The plants are in fantastic condition, big and healthy, and are even better than I expected. I can't get over how nice they look. I will definitely shop from you again.

My first order with FBTS was great except for one plant that was weak from the get-go... however all the other plants were in acceptable shape (however a little more pot-bound than I would normally find desirable) they did survive and are flourishing! Upon submitting my issue with this one plant I received immediate attention to resolve this! FBTS was more than generous in this matter!!! I will miss the plant that I lost but I am confident that at a later date I will be able to obtain a new order for this plant in a much healthier condition!. In the mean time I have not hesitated to order more from this most spectacular FBTS inventory of Salvias offered on the internet that I have found to date!

I must say that these sellers really listen to their customers. I voiced a complaint and they rectified it in a very prompt manner. This is the type of company I like to do business with. Very happy with their service

My order from you earlier this year could not have been more impressive. Beautiful lush large Salvias. The Smokey Jazz hybrid was already in bud and is fully blooming. All of the other five are budding out. I wish I could include the pictures I have taken out. Needle to say I shamelessly push your nursery in my social media. You are worth it. Thank you for brightening up my garden.

I just ordered two more salvias. The two I planted recently looked perfect and were in bloom in less than a week! Thank you for great plants and great shipping. You couldn’t tell they had just been planted two days before. Very happy!

I have ordered twice now from Flowers by the Sea. Both times the plants have been some of the best I have ever received by mail order and I have used several vendors. I like to attach hummingbirds to the garden and have never a selection that had so many choices.

Recently during a search I found Flowers by the Sea. They should also include in their name, Treasures by the sea! I have placed several order this month for my hummingbirds. The plants arrived healthy, budding carefully packed! This is a family business that cares about customers! I have had questions answered, and have been helped so much with caring for my plants. They are all doing well. I purchased several types of cuphea. They are gorgeous plants that I could never find in my area. Thank you Flowers by the Sea Team!

I ordered black and blue back in April and was exceptionally pleased with the plants and the care taken in the packaging. The plants are thriving here in eastern NC and the hummingbirds love them. Thanks and I will keep you in mind next spring or maybe sooner.

Have ordered on several occasions and each time the quality of the plants has always been impressive. In fact my last order the plants were equal in size to gallon plants at other nurseries. Also the selection is amazing which is a severe issue if you are a Salvia addict. Give you a 9.9 out of 10. Why not a 10 you ask, add Salvia castanea to your selection and it's a perfect 10!

This was my second order, six plants. They were moist, green and large for their containers when they arrived. All are planted and doing well so far. I am very pleased.

Patrice Gregory who rated us 5 / 5 on May 14, 1969

Received Mid-March and was ready with containers to plant all three. They arrived bright green and upright. Too early to speak of flowers as too early for blooms. (The pictures are exciting.) A BIG plus in my high desert location is that the two species of rabbits have, as yet, left them alone. I and my 'Hummers' are waiting.

Once again I received a fine shipment of Salvias from you folks. Your quality is superb! I always know that
your plants with have sufficient maturity when I received them that allow me to plant them and enjoy their
beauty. I also appreciate your policy of combining orders to save on shipping costs. However, I apparently did
not receive a credit for this Spring's shipment. My only negative in the 3-4 years of purchasing from you would
be the Elk Chantilly Lace plants. Since they were identified as Zone 8 plants I should not have lost all five plants.
I really question if these were zoned correctly. That being said, I do not hesitate to recommend your nursery to
other gardeners in my area. Please keep producing the wonderful Salvias that you do.
