Since moving from Berkeley, CA to Tigard, OR in November 2017, I have purchased 18 plants from FBTS: two salvias for a small shade garden, fifteen salvias and one agastache for a full sun garden. Every one of the plants arrived in pristine condition and they are all doing splendidly. I couldn't be happier. The plants are vigorous, loaded with flowers and visited all day long by bees and humming birds.

I’m so pleased to have found you! I never realized how lovely salvia could be. I tried just two this year, three plants of each. I’m in zone 6 and felt challenged to find a beautiful plant hardy in my zone. The two I tried were exceptional. Salvia greggii 'Burgundy Seduction' has just begun blooming in earnest which is great because we don’t have a lot of color at this time of year. The color itself is stunning and flower texture is like velvet! Salvia greggii 'Cold Hardy Pink' Has been blooming nonstop for months and continues to do so. I love to look out at the bright, lighter but vibrant, pink. I can’t wait to add others to our gardens! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Have ordered several different salvias. They always arrive healthy and amazingly large, and have all done very well in our garden. Am extremely pleased by the diligence, expertise, care, and love shown by FBTS!

Thank you again for the wonderful plants! Your quality has always been superb and I know
that I will always get plants with enough maturity to plant. I also appreciate your policy of
combining orders to save on shipping costs. However, I am not clear as to whether I received
a credit for individual orders vs. the combined order. My only negative in the
three years I have been purchasing from you would be the Elk Chantilly Lace loss, apparently
due to Zone info. In this case I lost five plants thinking they were Zone 8. I hope you continue
to grow the wonderful Salvias for gardeners like myself.

Wendy's Wish is very happy here in Central Florida. It has flourished. It has micro irrigation and morning sun. High heat 90's plus, not a problem.

I received the salvias today, thanks! Your plants are exceptional in quality and packed so carefully. Once again, thanks.

Two months later, two Elk Giant Orange, each in a contemporary (self-watering) white container on a windswept balcony facing north with a few hours of morning sun at best, are resplendent show stoppers with all 30" of them covered in brilliant orange-red flowers. Not sure you could ask more of a plant. They provide all the decoration needed for one end of the living room.

This was my first order with Flowers By The Sea. I purchased two of the Salvia vitiifolia plants. Even though it took a while for the plants to be ready for shipment, it was well worth the wait. My first move was to transplant them into larger pots until I can make up my mind where I want them in the yard. We previously purchased one these beautiful plants from a local nursery and it lasted for several years. But it was lost during a small construction project. As for these new plants from Flowers by the Sea, both are doing well. I'll transplant them again during our mild winter here in Mountain View, CA.

Pure Joy!!! I've enjoyed watching this burgundy salvia develop across the summer-- continuously getting taller and bushier. Now that August has arrived, there are dozens of blooms springing forth from the plant, which has spread nearly 4 feet and is 3 feet tall. Day by day the exact colors are emerging, as the bloom stocks develop and begin to bloom completely. Amazing tones of purple, black, red and burgundy.

This is a fabulous plant for hummingbirds. They won't eat anything else! It has a very long blooming season!

Wow! My plants arrived today, just two days after they were shipped. I was already impressed with the speedy shipping, and then I saw the condition of the plants. They are the nicest, largest, healthiest looking plants I have ever received by mail. One of them even has a flower or two on it. They were so carefully wrapped and packed, too. This is my first time ordering from FBTS, and I am sure to keep ordering from them in the future.

Plants arrived in great condition. Good size and already in bloom. Lovely rich color.

I live near Portland, Oregon and wanted a white salvia, which I was having no luck finding. About one month ago or maybe 6 weeks ago , online, I found Flowers By The Sea and ordered 3 pure white salvias, plus, two pink salvias . I mean, once you start looking at their site, I dare you to just order one !! LOL The 5 plants arrived in a large box . They were laying on their sides and wrapped in damp paper . They were in perfect condition . I mean, not a leaf broken !! Amazing ! They are now planted in my garden and blooming their little heads off !! So my hummingbirds, bees and myself give 5 stars !

Kudos to Flowers by the Sea!! Once again, this year the plants arrived beautifully packed and ready to plant. Unlike other mail nurseries, FBTS plants arrive much larger and in vigorous bloom--more than ready to plant and hardy. Our hummers are already taking advantage of the beautiful salvia flowers. Thank you!

Just to let you know, my Pachyphylla, all 20 plus the backup (thank you!) arrived in absolutly perfect condition. They look as though they're going to have to do some adjusting to the dryness here in Reno after spending their young tender lives at your wonderful FBTS..they will have each other and me and my colony of Dorrii to keep them company.
Thank you! Charles

This was my second order, six plants. They were moist, green and large for their containers when they arrived. All are planted and doing well so far. I am very pleased.

Received Mid-March and was ready with containers to plant all three. They arrived bright green and upright. Too early to speak of flowers as too early for blooms. (The pictures are exciting.) A BIG plus in my high desert location is that the two species of rabbits have, as yet, left them alone. I and my 'Hummers' are waiting.

Once again I received a fine shipment of Salvias from you folks. Your quality is superb! I always know that
your plants with have sufficient maturity when I received them that allow me to plant them and enjoy their
beauty. I also appreciate your policy of combining orders to save on shipping costs. However, I apparently did
not receive a credit for this Spring's shipment. My only negative in the 3-4 years of purchasing from you would
be the Elk Chantilly Lace plants. Since they were identified as Zone 8 plants I should not have lost all five plants.
I really question if these were zoned correctly. That being said, I do not hesitate to recommend your nursery to
other gardeners in my area. Please keep producing the wonderful Salvias that you do.

Yesterday was like Christmas morning and Independence Day rolled into one! My plants arrived from Flowers By The Sea. As I unwrapped each carefully wrapped plant, I found myself "oohing" and "awing" as I saw each plant. I've been a customer for many years, and I will continue to be.
